Creations by Karol came to be because of my love for glass. When I finally found the time to attend a class to learn stained glass, I was introduced to the art of fused glass - the studio was active in both art forms. I tried my hand at fused glass and fell in love with the freedom to create any shape, texture or style that I could imagine. It wasn't very long until I acquired a kiln, and the rest, as they say, is history. I was off and running.

I started firing mostly small pieces (about 5x7) that sit in a stand on a desk or in a display case. Then a friend introduced me to beading - and the two crafts, fusing glass in the form of pendants and creating jewelry became one. Each piece is lovingly designed and fired and then becomes the focal point of a finished piece of jewelry. People are proudly wearing Creations by Karol jewelry not only in the United States, but also in Europe and Canada.

Each piece of glass is unique and cannot be exactly duplicated - glass (and art) just don't work that way. There is only ONE available of each pendant shown - there will be others that may be similar - but you won't find any two that are identical. Each piece will also be engraved on the back with my signature "K" and the year it was created.

I have found that some pendants demand to "stand on their own" either on a neckwire or a chain. So you will find pendants sold individually - you can then decide whether to bead them into a necklace yourself, purchase a neckwire or chain, or commission me to do the beading to create a unique finished beaded necklace.
