Welcome to Creations by Karol – a space that I created to share with you my fascination and love of fused glass.

I am extremely excited by new techniques that I learned at some recent workshops. A whole new level of creativity was unleashed and I can’t wait to share my new creations with you.

I’ve also added a limited number of pendants created with my new skills (check out MUL-1053 and MUL-1058 and MUL-1059). In these pendants you will see an increased use of dichroic glass (which has the intriguing characteristic of reflecting various colors when light hits the surface of the glass from different angles).

They are constructed of multiple layers of glass and are kiln fired multiple times – each layer equals another firing. The surface of the dichroic glass may be cream etched, Dremel etched and/or decaled - and believe it or not, these eye-catching pendants will be amazingly lightweight around your neck.
